Anybody following? It looks like the EBR's are doing well.

I did a quick scan and didn't see any Ducatis or KTM's in the Superbike or Superstock classes. That would seem to promise the EBR's bragging rights as 'Fastest Twins' no matter how well they do.

Race 1 - both EBR got a DNF

Race 2 (super stock?) - Brandon retired after 1 lap after suffering clutch issues. no word on how Mark Miller did, but he's not listed in top 50 results.

Miller apparently lost a shifter bolt on the first lap and had to retire in the super stock race.

Miller and Cretu competed again on Friday in the senior TT; Brandon Cretu finished last. No word on Miller but he doesn't appear in the results.

Miller posted to Facebook on Thursday that they were having difficulty setting up the suspension on his bike. The Ohlins rep at IOM talked to the Ohlins WSBK guy who recommended major suspension changes. Miller was debating whether to try them or not.

Great interviews with Mark Miller and Brandon Cretu at Motopod: http://www.motopodcast.com

Brandon's on episode #409 starting at 00:39:00.

Mark is on episode #410 starting at 01:43:54.

If you're feeling down about how EBR's been doing in competition this year, listen to Miller's interview. He freaking RAVES about how great the bike, especially the FRONT BRAKE!!! His DNF in the senior was because he ran out of fuel!! Apparently they had issues getting fuel into the under-seat auxiliary tank (just like they run in WSBK) when doing pitstops during the race.

It sounds like they learned a whole lot about setting up the bikes (particularly the suspensions) and Miller thinks they could do much better next year if they return. Cretu says he and Miller ran the same two engines for the entire 2 weeks.
