Hi guys, can anyone tell me if the dash is not working ( not communicating with ECU ) it means that TC doesnt work ? Or does the dash just adjust settings stored in the ECU ? I have 1 dash that sort of works and another that does nothing.

Some times the ECM will leave the TC settings as they were, other times it will revert back to TC-3, depending on how they were stored when set. You may be able to go into the ECM with the data cord and see the settings, depending on the ECM you have. Otherwise, you can send the ECM over here to the manufacturer, IDS in Decatur, Indiana, and they can set the TC to "off" for you.

Last I heard, all you can do is buy a new one. Perhaps the dash mfg has a fix or can sell you one?

HED won't fix them. They won't sell you one direct either. It's an EBR only part. It could be reverse engineered, but I'm not the guy to do it.

Thanks for the info Dean. It's a bummer, but I consider it just one of the small draw backs for saving $10,000 off one with a warranty. I'd take that deal again any day:)
