EBR 1190 RX for sale in UK

Hello all, My name is Steve and I have been looking out for an EBR RX over here in the UK, I have owned a 1125R for the last seven years so do know a bit about Buells. I have come across a RX which is being sold by a dealer as an ex-demonstrator however looking at pictures of the bike it has the mirrors removed and blanked, tyres in the photos have never seen the road and a mesh screen has been fitted to protect the radiators, it has clearly been used as a track bike, not a demonstrator so straight away I am not trusting the dealer. It has 1,100 miles on it so I am wondering what realistically am I looking at here, is it worth considering as a road bike as long as it test rides ok? The front rotor shows no sign of heat so it has either been replaced or the track rider was not an expert. I understand you can only give general and not specific advice given the lack of facts but all opinions are really welcome.

What yr ? Can you share pics with us? Maybe some one on the board knows the bike. How much $$ , Tell them you will consider buying if you knew more about the bikes history, And you want to be in touch with the previous rider.

I don't think I'd jump to the conclusion it was a track bike just because someone took off the stock mirrors and added a mesh thing. The dealer probably isn't lying, they just don't know.
At 1,100 miles a track bike would have damn near worn out the chain and sprockets too, as well as the brakes, and many other tell-tales.
Looks too clean for that, I'd guess demo. If it was a EBR demo, they would have safety checked it and replaced the [tyres] :) before selling it.

Rear spools are missing and some weird chipping/ scratches on warning sticker on swing arm.. suspect....

Could just be when the did the tyres.

Bolts to the sprocket look like a wrench has been on them maybe..

The dealer is saying it is a new bike that has only been used as a road demo bike and it is a 2014 model year. It really does not explain why a dealer would remove the mirrors, spools and add mesh to protect the radiators on a bike being taken by customers as a test ride on public roads. I wish I could access the bike EBRRider posted. Any 2014 specific problem with the RXs

Clutch is stiff ,dash needs to be updated as all the 14 and 15s need and the are Fast! great bikes. I am taking my dash off currently to send in to be updated, waiting for the forum for from EBR.

The red bike at ride on has had some hard track miles,.I know that from a reliable source,
I have a 16 reg rx galactic black with 56 miles I could be persuaded to part with.
