I removed my front wheel to change tires. Noticed the in the video manual that there is a spacer on the right side of the wheel/axle. Mine does not have one & doesn't seem to need one. It seems like the boss on the right fork leg is thick enough to do without one.
Was there a running change on this fork/wheel setup? Everything bolts up & after a test ride works fine.
Thanks.

Fixed it
The ring rides inside the bearing seal.
It's most probably there, you just maybe didn't see it inside the seal.
It DOES need to be there.

Mike is right, it sits inside the bearing on the right hand (rotor side) of the wheel.

Yeah I saw that. I took it out to look at it. Didn't think it was a spacer. Looks more like a seal to me. Ooops.
Thanks guys.

Except for the front caliper this is an EASY bike to change wheels. I have an extra set of wheels with tires so it is an easy job. The rear went especially easy. No spacer to worry about.
