Dan Hurda posted this to Facebook this morning:

EBR Motorcycles is pleased to announce 1190 RX & SX Chain Slider Blocks are back in stock and updated for increased durability and ease of assembly. The updated chain slider block is made out of a stiffer, more durable material and features a slot in the side so it can be installed and removed without breaking the chain. The new version is part number G0012.1B7A and is available from your EBR Dealer or you can order direct from parts@ebr.com

I checked the one I ordered a few weeks ago, it is the old style. Oh, well. I am willing to be the slot can be cut into the old style.

The response I got from EBR Parts today is below:

"$36.00

Order from a EBR dealer and we will direct ship to you. (same cost)

White's EBR, Chester's EBR, Big Boyz Toys all can order these for you.

Thank you,

EBR Parts"

Awesome! Thank you. It seems like EBR really really wants to let the dealers have a piece. I respect that.

I searched their site and didnt see them. Just got my 1190sx. Only got 20 miles on it and had to readjust the chain. From reading I m following the manual at 30mm +-2mm

at a 'loose inch' of freeplay (up and down) the chain should give you a perfect whine on deceleration. a loose chain won't.

They say B/O on the EBR site, but if you pay for one that have consistently "found one" for me pretty quick. 2 times now. Exactly like when I needed the front brake hardware. "We have all the parts in the back, just haven't gotten around to putting them together as kits".

I'd order one. Whats the worst that can happen? You might end up with 2 but it's a wear part, you'll need it someday and its much easier to have it in the garage already.

I got my slider in as well. I also have, I think, 2 for an 1125. Ordered wrong numbers.

Those will work ,but you will need to be modified by drilling a hole in the swing arm so that the placement pin will hold in place.
