Sounds like it is wired inline to fool the ECM into providing more fuel. Better off with a real tune or ECM. Reminds me of the booster plug for BMW's.

Oh, lord NO!!!!

Especially on an EBR... The ECM doesn't tune itself the way we are used to (even compared to the Buell DDFI2 and 3). It is WELL worth the $$ for an IDS ECM.
I don't normally shy away from aftermarket stuff, but that is a bad idea.

I have been told by qualified EBR people even doing a resonator delete will risk an engine if not supported by the proper tune in the ECM.
