This is over my head, but you might comprehend better than me.

That is the set of instructions for using the IDS programmable ecm. You'll need their program and ecm to make changes.

And it's totally worth it, especially if you plan on changing the exhaust or doing a resonator delete:up:

Or if you build exhaust systems for fun like some of us do. Wideband O2 sensors are a must as well, otherwise you're just poking a stick in the dark and hoping to hit what you want while wearing a blindfold also.

Can the programmable IDS ECM use WB O2 sensor inputs as is? Or do you mean using it as a datalogging tool to build your own program?

I asked about this when purchasing the IDS ECM and will have to look at my notes when I get home, but if I remember correctly, there are 2 input leads which I assume are working off of a standard 0-5v analog signal. Although, I remember thinking at the time there was no easy way to map the live data with the given software. I may end up writing a different UI for datalogging but the IDS ecu should be able to get all the sensor data you need. You may just want to look into an EGT probe if the ecu is not reporting that.

Too bad none of the big companies like Akro or Arrow won't make any full systems for our bikes. Would be nice to get some decent headers.

Boy do I agree with that. My Akra on my Tuono sounds the best. Always get the most compliment on the sound. Not to loud or quite just "heavy" sounding.

With such a low production run its probably not worth their time, thats my opinion anyway.

Nothing further on any tuning? I have a surge around 3500-4000 steady state. Programmable ECM, with the 'correct' tune loaded in...secondary delete/44T. I have a DLG-1, that would work for dual WB.

What pipe are you running ?

stock pipe just resonator delete. Only mod is jet hot coated headers. I doubt that coating the headers would cause this.

I am running a APH with deans tune, and its a beast,. especially when you take it up to 8.5K and beyond.

Yea, kinda hit 9K during the track day. Didn't exactly follow break in. Only 50 miles short. At steady state it surges, but under acceleration seems fine. and plenty of power.
