Hey guys! Just picked up a used 15' SX with 6k miles ... Have a slight Buell Background, first Buell being a 2003 XB9s, Then I had a 2007 Xb12x uly..... then and still own ... 09' 1125CR

Currently own a few naked bikes... LOVE the SX though. Thing is amazing!!

Have a few little quirks to work out with it, clutch cover seems to be leaking oil, crazy vibration from engine area under load around 5k rpms...
But overall... I love it!

Has a RACE ecm tuned for the 44t rear sprocket w/ stock exhaust

Nice trifecta! I like what he did with the bike, almost looks like the Black Lightning. The vibration sounds familiar to me, but I wouldn't describe it as crazy on my bike.

Looks great - looks like it has been modded very tastefully. If you would like to get rid of that huge license plate bracket, Twisted Designs (on eBay) has two really nice license plate options. I personally went with the under tail mount and have been very happy with it - it really cleans up the tail.

I'm assuming you don't have much use for mirrors? :)

Both your bikes look great! I am using the same Twisted Designs Carbon fiber one, I will put putting on a pair of ASV C5 shorty levers, and a EBR Quick shifter kit.

Great looking bikes!

My SX just developed, what I deem to be an excessive vibration at 5K also. 850 miles on the clock.
I am going to check all of the engine mounts and if that doesn't clear things up, then I will do another oil change to inspect for any metallic content.

I'm curious as to what it is... mine feels like a mount issue.
I need to find a good stretch of road that's vacant so I can diagnose it better

Dave, what M3 do you own?

Looks great, think it'd ever smack the fender riding two up?

Well maybe not if the preload is set correctly.

Depends on who your riding two up with

I've never been much for riding with a passenger, but my girl does love to go.

I'll let my SuperDuke be the designated bike for that.

97 E36 Sedan. Triple black, manual, slicktop. A rare bird that I have been fortunate enough to own since new.

How does the 1190 compare to the Duke??
