The Hero EBR Team Manager explains targets and hopes for team’s debut season:

Giulio Bardi (Team Hero EBR) is the person in charge of managing the on track operations of the American squad in their historical first campaign at international level. The experienced 56 year old Italian outlined targets and hopes of the team for the 2014 eni FIM Superbike World Championship season:"It's an extremely exciting project, definitely not an easy one. This is a World Championship, so you know you are going against the 'cream of the crop' of racing. It's ambitious, we feel that we can learn a lot and we will learn a lot. We are going to have some teething problems, we will pay our dues and move on."

"Erik (Buell) is an motorcycle racing enthusiast, he has raced in the past and has been into racing all his life. He always aimed for his company to be involved in racing and finally he figured out a way to get into the World Championship. This is exciting."

"It's a new bike in the championship, we don't have data from previous years and the bike needs to be improved race by race. I'd say a realistic target for us is to constantly grow, during the season. This is what the team and I believe EBR set as a target - we need to learn each and every time out."
The Hero EBR Team could count only on Aaron Yates on Sunday at Phillip Island, with the rider finishing the two races in 17th and 20th place. Fellow American Geoff May suffered a collarbone injury earlier in the weekend and an update on his recovery is expected soon.
