On my Buell XB12 and Honda XR I use these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/X-Grip-Motorcycle-MTB-Bicycle-Handlebar-Mount-Holder-For-Cell-Phone-USB-Port-/172070478541?hash=item28103322cd:g:RMYAAOSwa-dWoD7K

They work great and since I use the phone (iphone 7) for navigation which sucks power the USB charger keeps it topped off. I have a spare one of those holders in the box but after allot of test fitting I just haven't found a good place to mount it. What cell phone mount solutions have you tried?

I have the LifeProof LifeActive Bike and Bar mount. I installed in on the steering dampner

RAM mount, use it on all my bikes. Also offer a mount for GoPros.

Life Proof bar mount fits nicely on the stabilizer but is a bit shaky at times. The iPhone 5 mount can be bought for $10 from Best Buy and a quickmount adapter is needed as well.

That looks like a great spot...when/how does it get shaky?

I live in the state with the worst roads in the country so that is partially to blame but the pivot pin allows the stabilizer to move and when you have the weight of the phone on it, it tends to bounce.
