New here, just signed the paperwork for #194 but it is getting a white body swap before being delivered. I'm very excited to get it on the road, and eventually track, but since I just got hit with another winter storm it may be a while.

In the meantime, I will be storing the bike in my garage and would like to keep the tires off the ground in case it is a month or 2 before I can get on the road. I searched the forum and found recommendation for the pitbull front and rear stands but I can't seem to find any info on the 1190rx's width. I have been currently using a harbor freight rear stand (http://www.harborfreight.com/low-profile-rear-motorcycle-spool-stand-99701.html) with a CycleGear trackside front stand (https://www.cyclegear.com/accessories/trackside-front-paddock-stand).

Does anyone have a similar setup or know if these will work? From what I understand, the rear is a little wider than other bikes so I'm thinking I may need to at least get a new rear stand.

This is the one you want for the rear:

...and for the front:

I don't remember which pin they use for the front stand, but if you were to call Pit-Bull, their customer service is fantastic. I've been very happy with mine.

(And congrats on the white - it's a great looking color)

For anyone still following this, I did order the pitbull front but on a hunch held off on the rear mount. CycleGear had a paddock stand sale recently so I was able to pick one up and stretch it enough for stable use on the RX. Took about 5 minutes, a hydraulic jack and a 2x4. Thanks again everyone.

Edit: Just saw the link for venom. May look into using the front from them and returning the pitbull if its less than half the price. Is the quality on the venom stands ok?

I'm just now finding this and the link above for the venom stands is no longer valid. Can anyone vouch for them and point me towards the right ones (front and rear)? An Amazon search for Venom EBR turns up nothing and Venom Buell turns up no rear stand but three front stands - for Friebolt, XB9 / XB12, and Blast / Cyclone. Thanks

Or you can get the trackside brand and bend them out to fit

Walmart has the Venom brand

It's just the standard Venom stand. I now have 2 because it listed the wide one in one of their adds as for wide bikes. When I mgot it it was the same as the standard one I bought! O well.

WalMart!!! Go figure. Too bad it's out of stock. Oh well, at least I know what I need. Thanks!!!

I've got the venom stands...they work, but I don't think I'd get them again. Poorly constructed and the rear require a bit of expansion to properly fit the EBR. Eventually I'll likely get the pit bulls, they seem to be the gold standard.

Mine fit straight off. What do you expect for the price? Holds up the bike pretty solid.

I had low expectations, and they were met. But if I had it to do over, I'd pay more and get a more robust set

Had to bend forks a little. But, it is the best I've ever owned! Haven't used the front yet. Should work fine. Protect you front fender!
