Just picked it up last week for $10k, with only 10 miles on it. Looking to add some crash protection, maybe a windscreen. The power is nice, and on tap when I want it, but gonna take it easy til my break in. Now if it just stops raining in SoCal.......

Some upgrades. D-Axis spools, 5-0Dro axle sliders, EBR CF case savers. Gas cap is just bling.

Anybody try the frame sliders sold on eBay. If so, do you like it, and does it affect the cooling fans. I've heard about crash bars bending frames, because it directs the force of impact laterally, and or vertically, unlike a cage. That would seem to be the 1st point of impact, if the bike fell over.

Yeah, I have heard some negative reviews on the sliders that only use one mounting point as opposed to the cages or multi point sliders. Some say they have damaged the mounting point.

Got my bell from my girlfriend with a special blessing. The most important addition.

I have them on both of mine - no interference with the fans. If the bike takes a hard fall, there's probably nothing I could do to prevent it being totaled, but if something minor happens, I've got a decent shot at saving the bike. A cage would definitely be better protection, but it would be way more obtrusive and even if there was one available, I can't see me installing one unless it became a dedicated stunt bike.

This pic might show the mounting a little better:
