It is my understanding that there will be no EBR booth at tomorrow's Chicago IMS. It was my plan to attend the show and (hopefully) get a picture of Erik signing my airbox cover. When I bought the bike this fall I gave serious thought to just driving to the factory to get his signature. I wish I had made arrangements to do that. Now - I haven't a clue on how to get a bonafide signature (like a picture of him - pen in hand). I am open to any ideas on how to get this done. I am not a collector per se'. My 1190 is a rider - regardless of what it does to the value of this bike. I would also like express my appreciation to all those who poured their hearts out in to creating this legendary motorcycle.

For me his sig is only as good as his warranty on his namesake bikes... nothing.

Email info@ebr.com. He's pretty receptive to these requests.

Where did you see there's going to be a homecoming?

i think the last few years have established there will ALWAYS be a Homecoming, whether EBR/Buell officially sponsors it or not.

June appears to be on a Thursday night. Is that right?

I guess that'll be the main day; they were hoping for a factory tour that day but it may be a mostly-empty building by then if something good doesn't happen. They usually have daily/nightly events before and after, so there should be something going on much of that week.

If your airbox cover is red maybe we can work something out...

With my Buell I liked to change the color of the airbox and wheels every year, so I went with the frame. Good thing too, because shortly after I had my airbox repainted.
