Hey folks. First-time poster here. I'm taking a hard look at an SX and, like many, can't not notice the low prices available on the 2014 bikes. Spoke to a local dealer that has one and was told they couldn't find a company that would offer an extended warranty on the bikes as they couldn't get parts for them. Don't know if that's old information or just a lazy dealer, but, has anyone been able to secure an extended warranty for their 2014? If so, can you tell me what company you were able to get it from? Thanks!

No idea on the warranty part (aftermarket anyway) but the remaining 2014 & 2015 RX/SX models are cheaper due to no warranty. The 2016+ models DO have a warranty and parts ARE certainly available regardless of the year (2014+), I just spent a couple thousand there last week at www.ebr.com and got the parts within the week. Not quite in time for Christmas, but 2 days after was fine for me.

I'd call that dealer one of the lazy ones if they don't want to keep current with what's offered or available. I'd also shop around, dependent on price, you might be able to get one shipped to you directly.

Parts for the EBRs shouldn't be much of an issue.
Any RX/SX should have full parts available. Maybe not "tomorrow" but in a reasonable timeframe.

Now parts for H-D based Buells, that's a different story. The "prototype" EBR 1190RS also...
Small batch parts runs seem to be gaining in availability for the older machines.
5-0dro is one and Twin Motorcycles in Holland are another.

We are the "new Vincent" generation.

I just got an aftermarket 3 year warranty from Action Motor Sports for my 2015 EBR1190SX. $1149.
