What's a "New Engine Fault"

106.9 degrees yesterday on the way home from work. My RX didn't seem to like it much (neither did I !). Seemed to run fine, but the check engine light came on with a "New Engine Fault" (whatever that means) comment showed up. No low rpm missing, or running odd, just the code.
The code was gone this morning.

I know where it says it, but what does it mean ?
The only thing I get out of the "ine-code-event" is a picture of the dash.
It could be because of my being at work...

Check current and historic faults.
If not faults - you can safely ride on. Consider it's dashboard glitch.

most likely an O2 sensor heater fault. they're no big deal. Go into the menu and go to diagnostics. Look at current and historic faults.

Nothing showed up.
I shut it down for dinner. Went back out to check for any sort of actual code...nothing, nothing current or historical.
