Heya all. I've been noticing my fuel pump has been priming kinda weak when I start the bike up sometimes. and tonight after gassing up, I got home and turned the bike off. it sounded like it was priming itself once every 30 seconds. I don't recall that ever happening before. I'm curious if any of that's normal for anyone else.

I'm pretty sure that's normal- it's a feature they have in common with Buell 1125's. When the bike's hot, the fuel pump cycles to maintain pressure in the fuel supply lines to prevent the fuel from boiling. Once the bike cools down a little, it should stop.

Itīs not a bug, itīs a feature...:Whatever:

It was first used in 1125 from ī10
But it has to stop after cooling down. On my RX was a shortcut in the f-pump wiring and the pump ran til Battery was empty.

gotcha. I'll keep an eye on it.

Strange it did it as temperatures were coming down in the city, lol
