Hey there folks...

Before I made any changes to my EBR, I wanted a baseline dyno run...and here are the results...

The plot shows a 4th and 6th gear run - HP only...unfortunately, without access to the "spark sticks", HP and MPH was all I could get...

160HP at the rear wheel, and top speed of 180MPH... :)

Take the seat off, the black plastic under it lifts up a little, the coil wires are right there. Alternatively, you can pick up off of pin 34, black connector for coil 1 since it's on the end of the connector.

Thanks for that info on coil wire location...that'll come in handy... ;)

No finite plans yet for performance mods, this was just so I can answer folks that ask about the power and speed it is capable of...

I will be de-noid-ing it very shortly, but hardly worth another dyno run just for that change...

Because I'm not in the know, what does having access to the coil wire do?

It allows you to take a reading of the RPM which, when combined with HP and some math... will allow you to derive the Tq.

What was the number after the pipe/ecu upgrade?

Anyone finding other methods to draw a little more power out of the motors? Anyone making race stators for this?

They will go 175-180 with a slip-on pipe and ecm tune. Contact Dean Adams Designs for a complete package. After that you need a full race exhaust and proper tune for that system. EBR and IDS did extensive testing and tuning to these bikes and the four current exhaust systems available for them so there wasn't much left on the table without going all out race configuration and budget, like polishing the crank, more extensive head and cam work, race fuel, etc.
