So I'm noticing that my RX has a weird thing. Just checking with everyone for input.
Basics:
TC off, first gear, warmed up, good fuel, Race ECM
I have only checked this in first gear but... at 8k I seem to hit some kind of soft limit where the engine REALLY cuts power and stumbles badly up to redline. Is this some kind of first gear limiter or does anyone experience this?

In the first four gears rev limiter cut at 10600 rpm. Full stock with denoid. Without denoid was the same.
ТС off or TC3 (in rain).
Milleage is 17500 km.

Maybe you clutch slip?

A clutch slip would cause it to rev easily to redline. This is a misfire-like event that is similar to when traction control kicks in and it reduces power dramatically at 8k and above.

What are the errors in the memory of dash?

None - I would have included any in the OP.

Perhaps the case in ECU.
And when you first saw it cutting - after change of ECU?

Another suggestion - check battery terminal voltage at idle and at 4000 rpm.
Perhaps fault relay-rectifier or alternator. A few years ago, I running with my two Aprilias around this problem...

And the last suggestion - not operate the upper injectors. The electrical signal is fed to them, so there is no error on dash.
If I correctly understand their operating principle - they are connect under load at high revs, just about at 8000 rpm.
How to check their work - I do not know. If you remove airbox cover and add gas, they will not work. Only in the moving.

Hmm, no such problems here with a similar adjustment setup.
With the stock ECM, it had a hard time getting past 9500rpm. No problem with the IDS, "race" ECM.

How many miles on the spark plugs ? Sounds like it could be too large a gap in any case.

1010 miles. I've messaged EBR tech support - its a very strange thing indeed.

Keep us posted on what it was.

Okay folks here's the issue. This bike, having been previously crashed (before I bought it) had the clutch switch broken off. The wires were tucked out of the way and also happened to be touching. Race ECM sees this, as it should, as not actually being in gear and would REALLY clamp down on any high revs.
Made sure wires were not touching and boom - she freaking screams now.

I should mention - EBR's tech support was *fantastic*. I was contacted after hours and during the weekend. I've never even heard of that level of support.
