OP Mine is exactly like yours- minus the tank bag. Just imagine the same bike only in a Texas background setting, cactus, tumbleweeds, etc!

BTW- check the 1190 owners page on FB- the other 47 of them are on there....

LOL

Have you met Daniel with the other Laguna Blue in Austin? He bought his from Killeen, TX. He is on the Laguna Blue Facebook Group.

Not sure I get the obsession with the laguna blue sx? A facebook page for them? LOL, sure they look nice IMO no nicer than the other colours the SX's come in.

In most vehicle enthusiast forums I've been on, I usually see groupings for each color (there's a yellow Mustang registry for example). And I normally see threads specific for each color. I'm honestly surprised that there isn't more enthusiasm for the reds, the whites, and the blacks.

Other than just color preference, EBR designed the Laguna Blue to be a limited production of 50 bikes, all done at once in July 2014. There's a handful of us with Type A personalities that if you tell us there's a specific number of them, we want to know where they all are. (i would do the same thing if I bought a 1190RS or one of the 30 Buell xb12scg bikes from 2010 for example).

I'd be more worried about theft. They're relatively rare (50 out of about 870 bikes built, 3 or 4 have been totaled at least) and now they are easier to find. Not the most popular bike to steal for sure, but why make it easier for thieves to make off with your stuff? They won't like what they find at my place, hope yours is well secured and/or defended.

I guess im just not very paranoid about it. Just about every vehicle on the planet has some type of forum or Facebook group for owners where you could theoretically track someone down if you were really committed. I just don't see these bikes as worth all that effort, given that 20% have been sitting unsold in dealerships for 2 years.

If someone was that paranoid about things like that, they probably shouldn't being on social media at all - identity theft via the internet should be way more of a concern than someone traveling to your city to steal your motorcycle.

But if someone should decide to pay my motorcycle an unwanted visit, I always carry some hollow points in a case that goes boom. :-)

I hope my post didn't come across as argumentative. In some instances, I agree that putting less information online is best - like children's information, or if you had a very high theft risk vehicle perhaps.

If anything, wouldn't it be less desireable for someone wanting to steal a motorcycle if they knew the VIN could easily be tracked back to its owner?
