Well damn, was hoping to see something earlier.
Who knows, maybe they'll show something ahead of time and then either unveil the final model or maybe additional models in October. But the general rumor seems to be they'll start making bikes this Fall (which makes sense since they'll probably be trickling out at first and a Fall start of production means dealers can have some inventory by Spring riding season). It would make sense to hold off the reveal and press that will come with it until as close as possible to the time people can actually buy them.
If they unveiled them now, and then told us we had to wait until November to buy them, a lot of people will probably have lost interest/moved on by the time they're actually available.
The Buell unveilings always seemed to be timed so that they would be showing up at dealers very shortly afterward.
It also may be interesting to note that the Milan show in November is typically when most manufacturers show their new bikes. If EBR can make the October AIM Expo the place where they reveal their new models, they could get theirs out before everybody else and not be battling for press coverage. It might be a good strategy from that point of view.
