I posted this also on the other forum- sorry if redundant for those of us who frequent both!
I may have missed the point on the R6 throttle tube mod. I took it to understand the R6 throttle had less rotation to get you to WFO, and made the bike livelier based on given throttle input.
Uh, they are exactly the same rotation angle to WFO. A little less than 90 degrees.
The distance between the eyelets for the 2 cables on the throttle housing is the same and the R6 tube has a bit of additional plastic on the pull cable eyelet side- but it is flush with the tube body (not ramped)- so no additional "cam" effect.
What did I miss as the benefit to this modification?
