Mandarblade, did AF1 have any clusters?
Mandarblade, did AF1 have any clusters?
I'm afraid not. Seems like I will be waiting to see how the auction turns out for that. I did get my bike back today, it seems the issues with the fueling system was only a lose battery terminal, she felt pretty good on the ride home today, about 100 miles, so I'm pretty happy about that. The dealer did discover that my high beams are not working though, bummer. I'll need to check for head light assembly's next.
I have vin 050 built 01/2014

Can you guys who post the VINs share what the 12th digit is (the "target market" digit, such as USA 49/All state model, EU, or Australia), and what color you got? I like to look for patterns and trends (call me weird).
For example, I have yet to see a Laguna Blue SX that was a "USA 49 state" model! I am also seeing what may be color trends as they are built on the mfg line, but I need much more data! Additionally, there were reports of early duplicate VINs, though I have only confirmed one in which the same sequence# was used but the "target market" digit differed, which I was not expecting. Thanks!
ReadyXB, the production of the Laguna Blue SX's were assembled after EBR had a 50 State CARB certification for their bikes. It may be that the ecm mapping for the earlier bikes is "better" for the engine, if EBR had to tweak it leaner for California to get the 50 state cert. Some of the bikes are reported to run super hot at idle because of the current ecm mapping.
