    Foot Peg Spring Installation?

Anybody have a easy way to reinstall foot peg with spring? Trying to re-install without losing an eye or finger.

    Thanks.

Yes that’s not an easy one. Dont completely remember but thinking I used a smaller diameter rod initially then drove in the peg pin which drove out the smaller pin.

Thanks for the tip. Used a smaller diameter clevis pin to get the holder and spring in place, then used a vise grip to hold the spring in the peg mount AND then with a little leverage on the spring with a screwdriver I was able to drive the permanent pin through while displacing the clevis pin. You're right, not easy but doable.

Thanks again for your response; it got me on the right path.

I don't remember having a problem with it. If I remember correct just hold it down with your thumb then push the pin in.

I've got Hulk thumbs and it was super hard for me. The punch/screwdriver trick worked well.
